Mission Statement

The Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center provides support and a sense of community for students, faculty, staff, and alumni of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. We foster student leadership, as well as personal, academic, and professional growth, through volunteer opportunities and collaborative partnerships across campus. The LGBTQ Center offers a safe and welcoming environment that promotes understanding, acceptance, and visibility of the LGBTQ community through a comprehensive range of educational programming and advocacy services.
