East Carolina University celebrated its centennial several years ago and the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center was founded in 2011. Our vision is vast and our ambitions are great. Your support can help us realize the full potential of this office on campus. Gifts to the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center have led to the creation of a scholarship fund for deserving students. Furthermore, the LGBTQ Priority Fund supports professional development through attendance at national conferences such as “Creating Change” or “Time to Thrive” as well as the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center Alternative Break Experience. Every gift signifies another voice in support of full equality and acceptance of the LGBTQ community.
